Real Estate in Victoria was part of my upbringing, and has always been a part of my life.


I want you to know how passionate I am about Victoria and Vancouver Island. Ocean, mountains, beaches, ski resorts, great weather and friendly people. What more could I have asked for when my mother chose Victoria and Canada as her new home from Denmark in her early 20's. Real estate in Victoria was part of my upbringing, and has always been a part of my life. My mother, Tove Barlow gets some credit for that. She successfully sold real estate in Victoria for 38 years. I followed in my mother's footsteps and started my real estate career in 1993 at Newport Realty. One could say that real estate is in my soul.


I feel most alive when I am exploring the natural beauty of Vancouver Island. I enjoy the rhythmic solitude of paddling my kayak down the Gorge Waterway. The crazy side of me loves kayak surfing during storm season at Long Beach and windsurfing at Nitinat Lake or mountain bike riding in the woods with friends. Every winter my family enjoys skiing at Mount Washington and every summer we enjoy boating trips to the local islands. We are truly blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I am very thankful. Indoors or outdoors, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family. I have two energetic, beautiful children and I love exploring the world through their eyes. They make me look at our world differently. They have brought me such joy.
